Endorsement for Gifted Education
The endorsement in Gifted Education is an 18-credit-hour program, offered online, to develop competencies expected of teachers working with children and youth identified as gifted and talented. Nationally recognized faculty provide the instruction for the program.
The College of Education and Health Professions provides the coursework needed for successful teacher candidates to submit a request for the gifted education endorsement from the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. Prospective students not residing in Arkansas must check their own state's requirements and reciprocity agreements.
