Christine Ralston began her career in education teaching elementary school in northern Indiana. After earning a Master of Education in Elementary Education and completing the Principal Licensure Program at Indiana Wesleyan University, Dr. Ralston served as an elementary school administrator in northern Indiana and suburban Chicago, Illinois.

In 2012 Dr. Ralston completed her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Purdue University after defending an award winning dissertation titled, “Collaborative Data-driven Decision Making: A Qualitative Study of the Lived Experience of Primary Grade Classroom Teachers.”

From 2012-2015 Dr. Ralston served in a variety of roles in higher education including: adjunct instructor, assistant professor, Director of Assessment, Assessment Coordinator, LiveText Coordinator, edTPA Coordinator, Elementary Education Coordinator, and CAEP Coordinator. 

In 2015 Dr. Ralston took her present position at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville as a clinical assistant professor of childhood education. Dr. Ralston teaches in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program supervising the research of MAT candidates, and serves as the liaison for Jones Elementary in Springdale, Arkansas.
