Professional Biography:

Felicia Lincoln received a Ph.D. in Educational Linguistics from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition she taught ESL to international students for ten years in Philadelphia and prior to that she taught high school in rural Arkansas. Her special interests are ESL pedagogy, public school language minority education and language planning.

Academic Interests and Accomplishments:

Lincoln has authored or co-authored 16 papers on areas in teacher education and language minority education. She has presented papers at 20 or more regional, national, and international conferences. In 1997, she and her colleagues were awarded the prestigious TESOL Distinguished Research Award. This award, given by international TESOL organization, is for the best second language acquisition research.
