Professional Biography:

Linda Morrow is the current program coordinator for Middle Level Education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She has over twenty years of public school teaching experience at the middle level. Currently she teaches Early Adolescent Literature in the Middle Level preservice program and English/Language Arts Methods, Adolescent Literature, Reading Across the Middle Level, Research in Middle Level Curriculum and Instruction, and Advanced Middle Level Principles in the Master of Arts in Teaching program. In addition, she serves as the university liaison for the Middle Level Master of Arts in Teaching Program at Kirksey Middle School in Rogers and McNair Middle School in Fayetteville.

Academic Interests and Accomplishments:

Linda Morrow has authored or co-authored six articles, one book chapter and co-edited one book, She has presented papers at 40 or more regional, national, and international conferences. Linda is also active in professional development in area middle schools focusing on such topics as early adolescent literacy and middle level philosophy and practices. In addition, she received the COEHP Outstanding Advising Award in April of 2004.
