Ford, Mulloy Headline 'An Evening with Writers' on April 17
The Northwest Arkansas Writing Project will hold "An Evening with Writers" with guest authors Oda Mulloy and Robert Ford at 7 p.m. Friday, April 17, on the University of Arkansas campus.
The evening will also feature original writings by teacher-consultants with the writing project, which is based in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas. The event will be in Giffels Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
Mulloy, a Fayetteville writer and storyteller, is a member of "Teller of Tales," an organization dedicated to keeping the art of storytelling alive, and a longtime contributor to KUAF, the National Public Radio affiliate on the UA campus.
Ford is a Fayetteville novelist and playwright whose first novel was The Student Conductor (Putnam 2003). He wrote My Father's War, a drama based on his father-in-law's experiences in World War II that was staged by TheatreSquared.
