Advanced Diagnosis and Instructional Interventions of Literacy Problems
 The focus for this session is on adolescent students who are at risk of failure in reading.

Specific diagnosis leads to appropriate intervention of reading difficulties.

Become familiar with the causes of reading failure, diagnosis instruments and procedures, how to analyze assessment results, and corrective instructional methods and materials, and how to measure response to intervention. Prerequisite: CIED 5573 Introduction to Literacy (or its equivalent).

Earn 3 University of Arkansas Graduate Credit Hours
in Teacher Licensure - Reading Specialist Endorsement.

Week 1: July 6-10
      University of Arkansas Global Campus
      at the World Trade Center in Rogers, AR
      Monday-Friday
      8 a.m.-noon

Week 2: July 13-17
     Washington Jr. High School
     1501 NE Wildcat Way
     Bentonville, AR
     Monday-Friday
     9 a.m.-noon and
     1 p.m.-3 p.m.
