Shoebox Learning

Students majoring in childhood education display boxes with activities they created to use when they visited Head Start classrooms in northwest Arkansas. The students spent 20 hours during the spring semester working with preschoolers and came up with numerous creative ways to engage the children in learning about such topics as shapes, textures, numbers, letters, animals and safety. Later, in class, they shared with the other students their experiences with the children.
