The program for each student must include the requirements specified in the particular program to which the student has been accepted. Assessment of deficiencies in the area of specialization and in the satisfaction of all current requirements of the Master of Education degree will be made by the Advisory Committee. Assessment examinations may be given to determine deficiencies in the chosen areas of specialization.

The student must complete EDFD 5013 Research Methods in Education and EDFD 5393 Statistics in Education and Health Professions and must fulfill the requirements of the Master of Education Core (or equivalent). University of Arkansas M.Ed. and M.A.T. graduates will have met M.Ed. core requirements.

Prior to completion of nine (9) semester hours, the student, in cooperation with the major advisor and the Advisory Committee, should develop a specific Program of Study (BCSS-35). One copy of BCSS-35 should be retained by the student, one by the advisor, and one filed in the office of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
